The Cisco Meraki in depth

All-in-one security and SD-WAN

The Meraki MX95 combines a next-generation firewall, intrusion prevention, malware protection, content filtering and SD-WAN in a single 1RU appliance. Cisco recommends it for medium-sized to large branches with up to 500 devices, with 3 Gbps of firewall throughput and 2 Gbps with advanced security enabled.

10G-ready WAN and LAN

Two 10GE SFP+ and two 2.5GE RJ-45 dedicated WAN ports let you run fibre and copper services side by side with load balancing and failover. On the LAN side it has four Gigabit RJ-45 ports and two 10GE SFP+ ports for fast connections to core switches.

Managed from the cloud

The MX is 100% cloud managed: it is deployed zero-touch and configured from the Meraki dashboard alongside Meraki switches and wireless. Meraki Auto VPN builds site-to-site tunnels automatically, and each MX is paired with an Enterprise, Advanced Security or Secure SD-WAN Plus licence.
