The Cisco Meraki in depth

MS150 24-port access switching

The Meraki MS150-24MP-4X is part of the 12-model MS150 family of stackable Layer 2 access switches for branch and campus networks. It combines 16 x 1GbE RJ45 and 8 x 100M/1G/2.5G/5G multigigabit RJ45 ports with 4x 10GbE SFP+ uplinks and 192 Gbps of switching capacity in a 1U chassis with a fixed internal power supply.

Power for modern endpoints

PoE is delivered from a 370W switch budget, and the multigigabit ports 17-24 support PoE++ up to 60W per port for high-power access points and devices. Perpetual PoE and Fast PoE keep powered devices running through switch reboots.

Stacking and cloud management

Two dedicated stack ports provide 80 Gbps of stacking bandwidth using Meraki MA-CBL-100G stacking cables. The switch is claimed and configured from the Meraki dashboard, with automatic firmware upgrades and remote troubleshooting tools, and requires a Meraki MS150 Enterprise or Advanced licence.
