Does the HA-KIT-IP2 support remote access from a smartphone?
Yes. The HA-KIT-IP2 supports the free Hik-Connect mobile app (available for iOS and Android). When a visitor presses the call button, you receive a notification on your smartphone and can see the live camera view, speak to the visitor via two-way audio, and unlock the door — all remotely from anywhere with an internet connection.
Does the door station require PoE or can it run on 12 VDC?
Both power options are supported. The door station accepts IEEE 802.3af standard PoE for single-cable installation (network and power over one CAT5e/6 cable), or you can power it via the included 12 VDC power adapter. Similarly, the indoor monitor can be powered via PoE or 12 VDC. PoE is the recommended option for the cleanest installation.
Can the indoor monitor connect to the network via Wi-Fi?
Yes. Both the door station and the indoor monitor have built-in 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11b/g/n), so neither unit requires a cable run to the network switch — they can connect wirelessly. A wired Ethernet connection is also available on both units for those who prefer a cabled setup.
What electric lock types can the HA-KIT-IP2 door station control?
The door station has a built-in relay rated at maximum 30 VDC, 2 A, compatible with electric strikes, electromagnetic/magnetic locks, and electric drop bolts operating within that voltage and current range. For higher-current or higher-voltage locks, an external lock power supply with dry contact trigger is recommended.
Is the HA-KIT-IP2 suitable for outdoor installation in harsh weather?
The HA-KIT-IP2 door station carries an IP65 ingress-protection rating, meaning it is fully dust-tight and protected against water jets from any direction. Delivery Restrictions


We do not deliver to PO Boxes or Parcel Lockers as our couriers cannot access them. Orders sent to these addresses will be returned, incurring redelivery fees.

Warranty & Faulty Products

ARC IP Networks complies with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

If a product is faulty, damaged, not of acceptable quality, or does not perform as advertised, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with ACL.

Manufacturer Warranty Returns

For faults developing after 14 days within the warranty period:

  • We will assess the issue and coordinate with manufacturers, authorised service centres, or distributors on your behalf
  • Where required, a manufacturer RMA may be arranged
  • ARC IP Networks manages the return process and next steps

Dead on Arrival (DOA)

Products that arrive faulty or damaged must be reported within 14 days of delivery.

ARC IP Networks will arrange assessment, replacement, or refund as appropriate.

Change of Mind & Non-Faulty Returns

Change-of-mind returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery. For change-of-mind returns, the product must be unused, unopened, in its original packaging, and returned with all accessories and documentation. These conditions apply only to change-of-mind returns and do not limit or exclude your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Some products are not eligible for change-of-mind returns, including:

  • Ex-demo products
  • Clearance or markdown items
  • Special-order items
  • Products clearly marked “No Change-of-Mind Returns”

If a product is faulty, not of acceptable quality, or does not meet advertised specifications, it remains eligible for return regardless of category.

Refunds & Processing Timeframes

  • Replacement or repair may be offered where appropriate

Handling fees and non-returnable service charges may not be refundable where permitted by law.


Restocking Fees

For approved change-of-mind or non-faulty returns, a 15% restocking fee applies.

  • The fee will be deducted from the refund amount
  • Restocking fees do not apply to returns made under the Australian Consumer Law, including faulty, damaged, or misrepresented goods.

Non-Warranty Repairs

For issues not covered by warranty:
