Professional Overview

The Grandstream GWN7661 is a high-performance 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6) access point specifically engineered for discreet in-wall installations. It is the premier solution for hospitality, healthcare, education, and residential environments that demand a dedicated, high-capacity wireless and wired connection in every room. By mounting directly into a standard junction box, the GWN7661 provides a clean, professional finish that blends seamlessly with any interior, eliminating the clutter of traditional APs and external power supplies.

At the core of its technical performance is the latest Wi-Fi 6 standard. The GWN7661 leverages key technologies like OFDMA and a powerful 4x4:4 MU-MIMO array on the 5GHz band to deliver superior efficiency and capacity in dense user environments. It boasts an impressive aggregate wireless throughput of up to 3 Gbps and can support over 512 concurrent client devices, ensuring a fast, stable, and lag-free experience for every user, even with demanding applications like video streaming, video conferencing, and online gaming.

The GWN7661 is also a versatile in-room connectivity hub. It features four Gigabit Ethernet ports: one uplink port that accepts high-power PoE for both power and data, and three downlink ports for connecting wired devices like laptops, smart TVs, and printers. One of these downlink ports also provides PoE passthrough, allowing it to power a downstream device such as a VoIP phone directly from the access point, further simplifying in-room cabling. With flexible management options, including a built-in controller and free cloud support via GWN.Cloud, the GWN7661 is a highly scalable and intelligent solution for deploying a superior, per-room network experience.
