FL-P1K-8P-HSEC-SV

Cisco FL-P1K-8P-HSEC-SV at a glance

The Cisco FL-P1K-8P-HSEC-SV is the Smart Licensing IPsec HSEC licence for Cisco ISR 116X 8P routers (C1161). HSEC removes any limit on encrypted performance so IPsec runs at the router's maximum potential instead of the 50 Mbps SEC or 250 Mbps VPERF limits.

ARC IP Networks is a Cisco Registered Partner in Australia. We supply the genuine Cisco FL-P1K-8P-HSEC-SV through Cisco's authorised Australian distribution, with a GST tax invoice on every order.

Best for

  • Full-speed IPsec on C1161 8-port routers
  • Branch DMVPN, FlexVPN or SD-WAN tunnels beyond 250 Mbps
  • Smart Licensing-managed fleets

Key features

Device-specific IPsec HSEC licence for ISR 116X 8P routers.

HSEC licences remove any limitations on encrypted performance.

Without HSEC, SEC provides up to 50 Mbps IPsec and VPERF limits IPsec to 250 Mbps on 8 LAN port devices.

Smart Licensing Using Policy entitlement: ISR_1100_8P_Hsec.

Smart Licensing pools licences in a Smart Account instead of PAKs; a Smart Account must be set up on Cisco Software Central.

Performance (VPERF) and HSEC licences are not prerequisites for each other; buy one or the other.

A single Cisco IOS XE Universal image is delivered with the router; features are enabled by activating a right-to-use licence.
