Hikvision DS-1273ZJ-130-TRL Wall Mount Bracket for Turret and Dome Cameras

The Hikvision DS-1273ZJ-130-TRL is an aluminium-alloy wall mount bracket that brings a Hikvision turret or dome camera off the wall on a short arm, supplied with the adaptor plate needed to fit the camera base.

  • Aluminium alloy arm and base for outdoor service without corrosion

  • Adaptor plate included, so the bracket ships ready to take the camera base
  • Cable routed internally through the arm, leaving no exposed cable between wall and camera

Frequently asked questions

Does the DS-1273ZJ-130-TRL include the adaptor plate?

Yes. Hikvision supplies the bracket with the adaptor plate required to mate the camera base to the bracket arm, so no separate adaptor is needed for compatible turret and dome models.

Can the cable be run inside the bracket?

Yes. The arm is hollow and the cable is routed through it from the wall entry to the camera base, which leaves no exposed cable and no separate weatherproofing to manage between the wall and the camera.

What is the maximum camera weight it will take?

Approximately 3 kg. Every Hikvision turret and dome camera sits comfortably below that figure, so the rating is there for compliance documentation rather than as a practical limit.

Do I still need a junction box with this bracket?

Usually not. The bracket base covers the wall penetration and houses the cable transition, which is the role a junction box would otherwise play. A junction box is used when the camera is mounted flush to the surface rather than on an arm.

Is it suitable for outdoor use?

Yes. The bracket is aluminium alloy and is intended to be paired with outdoor-rated Hikvision cameras. As with any external installation, seal the wall penetration correctly and use fixings rated for the substrate and the exposure.

Overview

A wall mount bracket does something a junction box cannot: it moves the camera away from the surface it is fixed to. On a turret or dome mounted flush under an eave or against a wall, part of the field of view is consumed by the building itself. The DS-1273ZJ-130-TRL sets the camera out on a short arm so the scene, rather than the brickwork, fills the frame.

The bracket ships with the adaptor plate needed to mate a Hikvision turret or dome base to the arm, which removes the most common ordering mistake on this class of product — buying the bracket and discovering the adaptor is a separate line item. Cable runs internally through the arm from the wall entry to the camera, so there is no exposed cable, no separate weather seal to manage, and nothing for a vandal to pull on.

Construction is aluminium alloy throughout, rated to approximately 3 kg. As with the rest of this range, the load rating exists for documentation rather than as a practical constraint — Hikvision's turret and dome cameras all sit far below it. The 130 × 182 × 120 mm envelope and 900 g bracket weight suit masonry and framed walls alike, provided the fixings are chosen for the substrate.

ARC IP Networks supplies the DS-1273ZJ-130-TRL as genuine Australian stock with full Hikvision manufacturer warranty. Send us the camera model you are mounting and we will confirm bracket compatibility before you order.

Buying from ARC IP Networks

ARC IP Networks is an authorised Hikvision reseller based in Blackburn, Melbourne. Everything we ship is genuine Australian stock carrying the full Hikvision manufacturer warranty, with RMA handled locally rather than sent offshore. Parallel-imported hardware is cheaper for a reason: it is not covered here, and a warranty claim on it becomes your problem rather than the distributor’s.

Accessories like this one are usually ordered alongside cameras rather than on their own, and that is the sensible way to buy them. Working out bracket and junction box requirements at the same time as the camera schedule avoids the most common delay on a CCTV job — cameras arriving on site with nothing to mount them on. Send us the camera models and quantities and we will build the accessory list against them.

We hold trade accounts for installers, integrators and electrical contractors, and we price match. If you have a written quote from another Australian supplier, send it through and we will do our best on it. For project volumes it is worth talking to us directly rather than ordering line by line through the site.

Beyond supply, we design and deploy the networks these systems run on — structured cabling, PoE switching, network design and GPON fibre infrastructure through our sister company ARC DATA. If a job needs more than boxes, we can take on as much or as little of it as suits you.
