The Cisco ATA191-3PW-K9 in depth

Analog devices on an IP service

The ATA 191 turns traditional telephones, fax machines and overhead paging devices into IP endpoints. Its two FXS ports can be configured independently as two SIP registrations, so existing analog equipment keeps working after a move to IP calling.

Made for multiplatform call control

Cisco designed the ATA 191 for Webex Calling, BroadCloud and BroadWorks, and for third-party platforms such as Metaswitch and Asterisk. It provisions with zero touch through TR-069 and XML configuration files, and Cisco states no licence is needed for third-party call control.

Compact and serviceable

The adapter measures 100 x 100 x 28 mm, can be wall mounted and has a dedicated PRT button for problem reports and log collection.
