The Jabra GN1200 CC Smart Cord in depth

One cord for most desk phones

Desk phones may share the same RJ9 plug but each maker wires it differently, which is why a new headset often gives no dial tone. The GN1200 smart cord solves this with eight wiring schemes on one cord.

Slide until you hear a dial tone

Connect the GN1200 to the headset Quick Disconnect plug and the phone, then move the slider through the positions until a dial tone is heard. Positions 6 to 8 add microphone amplification for phones that need extra gain.

Coiled version

The GN1200 is made in straight 80 cm and coiled 200 cm versions; the GN1200 CC (88011-99) is the coiled cord.
