The Jabra GN1216 Avaya Cord in depth

Made for Avaya one-X

Avaya one-X Deskphone 9600 and 1600 series phones have a special headset interface with automatic gain control and sound level protection. If the microphone is too quiet the caller hears little, and if it is too loud the phone can drop the call; the GN1216 solves this for Jabra corded headsets.

Eight microphone settings

An 8-position slide sets the microphone level for each Jabra headset type, and Jabra's datasheet lists the recommended setting per headset model. The cord supports wideband sound.

Straight or coiled

The GN1216 comes as a straight 80 cm cord (88001-03) or a coiled cord up to 200 cm (88001-04). Unlike the universal GN1200, it only works on Avaya one-X 9600 and 1600 series phones.
