PowerShield PSEMD overview

The PSEMD plugs into the sensor port of the PowerShield PSSNMPV4 card and shows temperature and humidity in the card's web interface. When user-defined thresholds are exceeded it can trigger email alerts and/or a system shutdown. Two dry contact inputs accept signals from compatible security, alarm, smoke or tamper devices.

It is powered from the SNMP card (an external 12 V DC source is optional), wall mounts on a key-hole slot and ships with a 3 m cable; a longer cable up to 15 m can be substituted. The UPS must already have a PSSNMPV4 card installed.
