For Microsoft Teams, choose a Yealink MP series Teams phone: the MP54 E2 (4" touch screen) for most desks, the MP56 E2 (7" touch screen) for managers and shared areas, and the MP58 E2 with a wireless handset for executives. They run Microsoft's Teams phone software natively and sign in with a Teams account. Pair them with MS-certified Yealink headsets (BH76 Plus MS, WH63 E2 MS, UH37 MS) and the MeetingBar A40 for small meeting rooms.
ARC IP Networks is a trusted Yealink supplier in Australia: genuine Yealink stock with the full manufacturer's warranty, delivered Australia-wide at competitive prices, with local pre-sales help for businesses, installers and IT providers.
Teams-native phones versus SIP phones
There are two ways to put a Yealink phone on Microsoft Teams. A Teams-native phone (the MP series) runs Microsoft's own Teams phone application on Android, shows the Teams calendar, contacts and meetings on screen, and is managed from the Teams admin centre. A SIP phone (the T series) can connect to Teams through Microsoft's SIP Gateway, but with a basic calling experience and no Teams screen. If your users live in Teams, buy MP series. If Teams is only one of several platforms you use, a T series SIP phone is the more flexible choice.
Licensing you need
A Teams phone needs a Microsoft Teams Phone licence on the user account (included in some Microsoft 365 plans, an add-on in others) and a way to reach the public phone network: Microsoft Calling Plans, Operator Connect through an Australian carrier, or Direct Routing via an SBC. Shared devices such as a lobby phone use a Teams Shared Device licence. We can confirm what your tenant needs before you order.

Our three picks
Headsets and meeting rooms for Teams
Every Yealink headset family has an MS version certified for Teams: the WH63 E2 MS DECT headset for desk phones and PCs, the BH76 Plus MS Bluetooth headset for laptops and mobiles, and the UH37 MS wired USB headset for fixed desks. The Teams button answers, mutes and raises a hand without touching the PC.
For meeting rooms, the MeetingBar A40 is an all-in-one Android video bar with dual 4K cameras for rooms of 5 to 12 people; the A40 with CTP25 touch panel bundle adds a tabletop controller. The WPP30 wireless presentation pod lets a guest share a laptop screen to the room display without cables.
Mixing Teams phones with a SIP PBX
Many Australian businesses run Teams for staff and a SIP platform (3CX or a hosted provider) for reception, call queues or a warehouse. Yealink covers both: MP series on Teams, T series and DECT on SIP, all from one supplier and one warranty. If you are moving from a SIP PBX to Teams, existing Yealink T5W phones can be re-flashed to Teams firmware, but the MP series gives the better Teams experience.

Each user needs a Microsoft Teams Phone licence (included in some Microsoft 365 plans, an add-on in others) plus a calling service: Microsoft Calling Plans, Operator Connect through an Australian carrier, or Direct Routing. Shared phones in lobbies or meeting rooms use a Teams Shared Device licence.
