Professional Overview

The MikroTik L009UiGS-2HaxD-IN is the WiFi-enabled version of the L009 series, designed as the modern successor to the RB2011 product line. Built around a dual-core ARM IPQ-5018 CPU running at 800 MHz with 512 MB RAM, it delivers up to four times the routing performance of its predecessor across fast path, bridge filtering, and IPsec encryption workloads.

The router features 8 Gigabit Ethernet ports driven by a Marvell Peridot 88E6190 switch chip with a 2.5 Gbps full duplex CPU connection, plus an SFP cage supporting both 1G and 2.5G modules. PoE-in on Ether1 accepts 802.3af/at power (24-57V), while passive PoE-out on Ether8 can power a downstream device at up to 1A. The integrated 2.4 GHz WiFi 6 radio (802.11ax, 2x2 MIMO, 4 dBi) provides wireless coverage for client devices and IoT endpoints.

Running RouterOS v7 with a Level 5 license, the L009 supports advanced routing, VPN with IPsec hardware encryption (60-90 Mbps throughput), firewall rules, QoS, and Docker container projects via the USB 3.0 port. The ARM architecture unlocks container support for running services like Pi-hole ad-blocking or custom network tools directly on the router.

The compact indoor enclosure supports desktop and wall-mount placement with passive cooling across an operating range of -40°C to 70°C. Certified CE, EAC, and ROHS with IP20 rating. This IN variant includes the 2.4 GHz WiFi radio, differentiating it from the RM (rackmount, no WiFi) version. Australian stock from ARC IP Networks.
