Professional Overview

The Netonix WS-12-400-AC is a high-power managed PoE switch engineered from the ground up to meet the extreme demands of the Wireless Internet Service Provider (WISP) industry. It is the definitive solution for powering and connecting dense tower sites, providing a robust and intelligent hub for aggregating data and distributing substantial power to a wide range of high-performance wireless equipment.

At its core, the WS-12-400-AC is a versatile and powerful power source. It features an integrated 400-watt AC power supply, providing a massive budget to run a full suite of power-hungry devices. The switch excels in its highly configurable passive PoE capabilities. Each of its 12 Gigabit Ethernet ports can be programmed to deliver 24V or 48V passive PoE (2-pair or 4-pair), as well as 48VH for high-power devices, making it compatible with a vast array of equipment from vendors like Ubiquiti, MikroTik, and Cambium. This eliminates the need for multiple individual PoE injectors, dramatically simplifying tower cabling and reducing potential points of failure.

Beyond its exceptional power capabilities, the WS-12-400-AC is a high-performance managed switch. The inclusion of two 10G SFP+ ports provides high-speed fiber uplink capacity, preventing backhaul bottlenecks and future-proofing the network. The intuitive web-based interface offers granular control over each port, including PoE settings, VLAN configuration, and real-time monitoring of voltage and current. Designed for reliability in harsh environments, the switch boasts a wide operating temperature range, making it suitable for deployment in outdoor enclosures. For any WISP seeking a powerful, reliable, and purpose-built switch to anchor their high-performance network infrastructure, the WS-12-400-AC is the ultimate choice.
