Professional Overview

The Ubiquiti UISP Router Pro is a high-performance, Layer 3 routing and switching platform designed to be the powerful core of a modern WISP (Wireless Internet Service Provider) deployment. As the flagship router in the UISP line, it provides the advanced features, high port density, and immense power budget required for demanding Micro Point of Presence (MicroPoP) applications, all within a compact and silent form factor.

The router's exceptional connectivity and power capabilities are its defining strengths. It features nine Gigabit RJ45 ports, with eight providing 802.3at PoE+ and a versatile ninth port offering high-power 802.3bt PoE++. With a massive 200W total PoE budget, the UISP Router Pro can effortlessly power a full suite of high-performance radios, including UISP Wave APs, LTU radios, and airMAX devices, directly from the unit. To handle the immense traffic from these devices, the router is equipped with two 10G SFP+ ports, providing a high-capacity fiber backhaul to the network core and ensuring a bottleneck-free infrastructure.

Beyond its physical interfaces, the UISP Router Pro is powered by a robust quad-core processor and includes Layer 3 features, enabling it to handle sophisticated routing tasks and traffic management with ease. Its fanless, passively cooled design ensures silent operation, making it ideal for deployment in noise-sensitive locations or compact outdoor enclosures where airflow may be limited. The device is also wall-mountable, allowing for a clean and professional installation.

As a native component of the UISP ecosystem, the router is seamlessly managed through the powerful and intuitive UISP application. This centralized platform provides a single pane of glass for all configuration, monitoring, and client management tasks, simplifying network operations for service providers. For any WISP seeking a compact, cost-effective, yet incredibly powerful solution to build and scale their network, the UISP Router Pro is the definitive choice.
