Professional Overview

The Ubiquiti UniFi Protect ViewPort is a dedicated hardware device designed to create a simple, reliable, and professional live security monitoring station. It bridges the gap between your UniFi Protect NVR and any HDMI-enabled display, allowing you to stream camera feeds directly to a monitor or TV without the need for a dedicated computer, web browser, or mobile app. This plug-and-play solution is perfect for providing a constant, real-time view of your surveillance assets.

Engineered for performance, the ViewPort is capable of displaying a live feed from up to 16 UniFi cameras simultaneously on a single screen. The Gigabit Ethernet port ensures a smooth, high-quality 1080p video stream, free from the lag and buffering that can plague wireless solutions. Powered by 802.3af PoE, the device requires only a single Ethernet cable for both data and power, which dramatically simplifies installation and allows for clean, professional setups, even when mounting the device discreetly behind a display using the included VESA mount.

The ViewPort is seamlessly managed within the UniFi Protect ecosystem. Once connected to the network, it is adopted by your UniFi Protect controller just like a camera. From the controller's interface, you can easily create and assign custom, multi-camera layouts, allowing you to tailor the on-screen view to the specific needs of the location. This makes it an ideal solution for reception desks, security offices, retail storefronts, or any area where a persistent visual of key locations is beneficial.

For any serious UniFi Protect deployment, the ViewPort is an essential accessory. It enhances the system's usability by providing a dedicated, low-maintenance, and power-efficient monitoring solution that runs 24/7 without tying up a valuable computer workstation. It delivers a robust and streamlined way to keep an eye on your property, reinforcing the comprehensive nature of the UniFi Protect platform.
