Yealink Desk IP Phone FAQ — SIP-T77U

What is the SIP-T77U?

The Yealink SIP-T77U is a premium executive SIP IP phone designed for office, executive, and contact-centre desk deployments. It supports HD voice, multiple SIP accounts, and integrates with Yealink Device Management Platform (YDMP) and Yealink Management Cloud Service (YMCS) for centralised provisioning.

How many SIP lines does the SIP-T77U support?

See the Specifications table on this page. T3 series typically supports 2-4 SIP accounts (entry-level), T4 series supports 12 lines, T5/T7 series supports 12-16 lines, T8 series supports 16 lines + premium codecs.

Does the SIP-T77U support PoE?

Yes. All Yealink T-series IP phones support Power-over-Ethernet (IEEE 802.3af or 802.3at depending on model) — single-cable deployment from a PoE switch eliminates the local power adapter requirement. An external AC adapter is supported as a fallback for sites without PoE infrastructure.

Is the SIP-T77U compatible with Microsoft Teams or Zoom?

Yealink markets dedicated Teams Edition (-MS suffix) and Zoom Edition (-Z suffix) phones for those platforms. The standard SIP variant of the SIP-T77U works with any compatible SIP PBX or hosted UC platform — Yealink, Microsoft Teams via SBC, Zoom Phone, 3CX, Asterisk-based platforms, and most carrier-hosted services.

How is the SIP-T77U managed?

Configuration via on-phone menu, web GUI, or auto-provisioning (TFTP / FTP / HTTP / HTTPS / RPS / PnP). Yealink Device Management Platform (YDMP) handles on-premises fleet management; Yealink Management Cloud Service (YMCS) handles cloud-based fleet management. Bulk firmware roll-outs supported.

Does the SIP-T77U support wireless headsets?

Yes. EHS (Electronic Hook Switch) wireless headset support is included via Yealink EHS35/EHS36 adapter (sold separately) for compatible Plantronics/Jabra/Sennheiser DECT and Bluetooth headsets.

What warranty does the SIP-T77U include?

Yealink standard manufacturer warranty applies. ARC IP Networks handles warranty claims locally in Australia — no offshore returns processing. Pre-sales SIP-PBX compatibility consultation is included.

Professional Overview

The Yealink SIP-T77U is a Yealink T7-series SIP IP desk phone, positioned for premium executive workstations with large-format colour displays, hot-desk compatibility, and enterprise-grade SIP / Teams / Zoom integration. It joins the Yealink unified firmware family and integrates with Yealink Device Management Platform (YDMP) for on-premises fleet management and Yealink Management Cloud Service (YMCS) for cloud-managed deployments — pick the model that matches your operations.

Codecs, port specifications, display dimensions, line-key counts, and accessory support are documented in the Specifications table on this page. T-series IP phones in the Yealink range share a common config schema, so once you provision one model the others follow with minimal additional setup.

Security covers TLS, SRTP, HTTPS, AES configuration encryption, and 802.1X authentication for network admission. Auto-provisioning runs over TFTP / FTP / HTTP / HTTPS / RPS / PnP. Wireless headset support via the Yealink EHS35/EHS36 adapter (sold separately) for compatible Plantronics, Jabra, and Sennheiser DECT and Bluetooth wireless headsets.

The SIP-T77U is genuine Australian-stocked product through ARC IP Networks. Local warranty handling, pre-sales consultation on SIP PBX compatibility, fleet provisioning, and headset / expansion-module pairing are included.
