A Revolutionary SIP Phone for Enhancing Productivity

Designed for busy executives and professionals, the SIP-T46U IP phone is an ultimate communication tool that has better overall performance. The phone employs an appealing high-resolution TFT color display that looks brighter and more vibrant. T46U gives you a quieter operation and environment. With United Yealink Optima HD Voice technology, the T46U offers you superb audio quality and crystal-clear voice communications. Moreover, the T46U puts dual USB ports in a phone that makes Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB headset, and USB recording come true, and you can use any two of them freely according to your needs. The Yealink new T4U series offers the same elegant appearance as the T4 line, but with improvements for greater interoperability and better collaboration. The T4U series better builds the Yealink ecosystem and is compatible with more Yealink headsets, supporting intelligent channel switching* and using the phone to configure and upgrade headsets.

*Only the BH76 headset supports the intelligent channel switching feature.

HD Audio

Yealink Optima HD Voice technology combines cutting-edge hardware and software with wideband technology for maximum acoustic performance. Being a totally open, highly versatile audio codec, it is designed to deliver a higher HD audio quality than other wideband codecs in a high network bandwidth.

Efficient Installation and Provisioning

Yealink T4U series supports efficient provisioning and effortless mass deployment with Yealink’s Redirection and Provisioning Service (RPS) and Boot mechanism to help you realize the Zero Touch Provisioning without any complex manual settings, which makes the T4U series simple to deploy, easy to maintain, and upgrade. Furthermore, a unified firmware and auto-p template that applies to all T4U phone models saves even more time and costs for businesses, as well as simplifies the management and maintenance.

Secure Transport and Interoperability

Yealink T4U series uses SIP over Transport Layer Security (TLS/SSL), which is the latest network security technology. It’s also compatible with leading soft switch suppliers, such as 3CX, Broadsoft Broadworks. It is carried with dual firmware images that give you enterprise-level protection to avoid bricking your system once the upgrade fails. What's more, the T4U series supports the feature of Security Center, which allows users to decide whether to connect the phone to the device management platform/service and what private data they permit to report.

Yealink Desk IP Phone FAQ — SIP-T46U

What is the SIP-T46U?

The Yealink SIP-T46U is a feature-rich business-class SIP IP phone designed for office, executive, and contact-centre desk deployments. It supports HD voice, multiple SIP accounts, and integrates with Yealink Device Management Platform (YDMP) and Yealink Management Cloud Service (YMCS) for centralised provisioning.

How many SIP lines does the SIP-T46U support?

See the Specifications table on this page. T3 series typically supports 2-4 SIP accounts (entry-level), T4 series supports 12 lines, T5/T7 series supports 12-16 lines, T8 series supports 16 lines + premium codecs.

Does the SIP-T46U support PoE?

Yes. All Yealink T-series IP phones support Power-over-Ethernet (IEEE 802.3af or 802.3at depending on model) — single-cable deployment from a PoE switch eliminates the local power adapter requirement. An external AC adapter is supported as a fallback for sites without PoE infrastructure.

Is the SIP-T46U compatible with Microsoft Teams or Zoom?

Yealink markets dedicated Teams Edition (-MS suffix) and Zoom Edition (-Z suffix) phones for those platforms. The standard SIP variant of the SIP-T46U works with any compatible SIP PBX or hosted UC platform — Yealink, Microsoft Teams via SBC, Zoom Phone, 3CX, Asterisk-based platforms, and most carrier-hosted services.

How is the SIP-T46U managed?

Configuration via on-phone menu, web GUI, or auto-provisioning (TFTP / FTP / HTTP / HTTPS / RPS / PnP). Yealink Device Management Platform (YDMP) handles on-premises fleet management; Yealink Management Cloud Service (YMCS) handles cloud-based fleet management. Bulk firmware roll-outs supported.

Does the SIP-T46U support wireless headsets?

Yes. EHS (Electronic Hook Switch) wireless headset support is included via Yealink EHS35/EHS36 adapter (sold separately) for compatible Plantronics/Jabra/Sennheiser DECT and Bluetooth headsets.

What warranty does the SIP-T46U include?

Yealink standard manufacturer warranty applies. ARC IP Networks handles warranty claims locally in Australia — no offshore returns processing. Pre-sales SIP-PBX compatibility consultation is included.

Professional Overview

The Yealink SIP-T46U is a Yealink T4-series SIP IP desk phone, positioned for feature-rich business desks with dual-port Gigabit Ethernet, expansion-module support for additional line keys, and full Yealink Acoustic Shield noise reduction. It joins the Yealink unified firmware family and integrates with Yealink Device Management Platform (YDMP) for on-premises fleet management and Yealink Management Cloud Service (YMCS) for cloud-managed deployments — pick the model that matches your operations.

Codecs, port specifications, display dimensions, line-key counts, and accessory support are documented in the Specifications table on this page. T-series IP phones in the Yealink range share a common config schema, so once you provision one model the others follow with minimal additional setup.

Security covers TLS, SRTP, HTTPS, AES configuration encryption, and 802.1X authentication for network admission. Auto-provisioning runs over TFTP / FTP / HTTP / HTTPS / RPS / PnP. Wireless headset support via the Yealink EHS35/EHS36 adapter (sold separately) for compatible Plantronics, Jabra, and Sennheiser DECT and Bluetooth wireless headsets.

The SIP-T46U is genuine Australian-stocked product through ARC IP Networks. Local warranty handling, pre-sales consultation on SIP PBX compatibility, fleet provisioning, and headset / expansion-module pairing are included.
