Professional Overview

The Ubiquiti PC-12/1 Outdoor DC Power Cable, sold per metre, is a fundamental component for establishing custom-length, highly reliable power connections in professional networking deployments. Engineered with heavy-duty 12 AWG (approximately 4mm²) conductors, this cable is purpose-built to deliver stable, high-current direct current (DC) power, making it essential for critical Ubiquiti devices such as the EdgePower series, high-power wireless radios, and remote surveillance equipment. The flexibility of purchasing by the metre allows network integrators to create precise cable runs, minimizing waste and optimizing installation efficiency for unique site requirements.

In outdoor and industrial environments, consistent power delivery is paramount. The PC-12/1's robust conductor gauge ensures minimal voltage drop over extended distances, which is a critical factor in preventing performance degradation, unexpected device reboots, or potential hardware damage commonly associated with insufficient power supply. This makes it an ideal choice for powering PoE switches located at the base of towers, remote client devices, or any installation where power sources are distant from the equipment. Its high-purity copper ensures efficient energy transfer, contributing to the overall reliability and longevity of the connected infrastructure.

Constructed with a durable, weather-resistant, and UV-stabilized outer jacket, the Ubiquiti PC-12/1 cable is designed to withstand the rigors of harsh outdoor conditions, including extreme temperatures, moisture, and prolonged exposure to sunlight. This robust construction guarantees long-term reliability and consistent performance, reducing maintenance needs and maximizing network uptime. For Wireless Internet Service Providers (WISPs), enterprise networks, and system integrators, this power cable is an indispensable asset for building resilient and scalable networks that demand uncompromising power integrity.

By offering precision, durability, and high-current capacity, the Ubiquiti PC-12/1 streamlines power infrastructure development, ensuring that critical networking hardware operates at peak performance. It's a strategic investment in the stability and efficiency of any professional Ubiquiti deployment, enabling reliable connectivity even in the most challenging environments.
